Hanging vs exit bag (in hotel) and suicide investigation

So I was practicing putting pressure on my carotid arteries with my fingers and found my sweet spot. I definitely felt myself starting to fade and think I would've passed out if I had continued applying pressure, so I think partial suspension could work. I decided I will ctb in a hotel (as opposed to a secluded area).

Anyway, I could really go either way with the exit bag and hanging. I think I will bring both a ligature and the exit bag with me to the hotel so that if one fails, I can just try the other, but I'm trying to decide which one to try first. I'm equally happy with both, so I think the determining factor would be, what method is more likely to be ruled out as a suicide?

Hanging is an extremely common suicide method and I know that hanging can be ruled out as a suicide quickly, even at the scene. If I used an exit bag in the hotel, could that also be ruled out as a suicide as quickly as hanging? My main concern is not having my family treated like murder suspects.

People strangle themselves on accident, but an exit bag would be really obvious since that doesn't happen on accident

Both will be obvious suicides (I'm not sure why you think they would come to any other conclusion?). Exit bag would be my preference

What gives you that impression? I do, I'm just waiting until the semester ends so I don't have to worry about failing classes if I somehow botch up my attempt. And my mind has been wondering a lot as a result.
