Caution, suicidal video:

I have tried to hang myself partially before, my vision usually blacked out in 5-15 seconds, but I gained my vision back after a while. Probably I wasn't creating enough pressure on my neck.

So, if I hang myself like this guy, shown in the video, cause enough pressure to cut the blood brain barrier but not enough pressure for the rope to break, will I definitely succeed if I am not found and didn't interrupt my attempt?

Partial worked for him, but it often fails- it may be that since he was so close to standing up straight that it helped.

Most people who try partial do it slowly if you notice he leaned into it very fast

I think the reason that they fail is that they can't cause enough pressure to cut carotid artery. Because someone can't do that by only pushing forward.

This guy didn't try to push forward. He already tightened the rope enough to cut the carotid artery so he didn't need to push forward.

What do you think?

That may be it, not sure, maybe a doctor or nurse would know better.
