Hanging plan

So I've been doing some investigating. Upon researching I learned that if I want to have a successful hanging i should tie my hands together and tie my feet together. Also some people have put a blind fold in their eyes.

Thoughts?

You only need to tie your hands behind your back, for example with handcuffs. This prevents you from grabbing to the rope or to your anchor point.
