I'm trying to hang by a door. I have a nylon rope with two slip knots. One more my neck and the other for the other size of the door. I run into issues though because when I get dizzy I automatically stand.

Is my setup wrong somehow?

what happens to you is survival instinct, it keeps us alive, and is sure to kick in when you are in danger.
With full suspension there is no such problem if you are able to kick the chair (again SI).
I suggest use this thread where there is more help:

Survivor instinct is very, very powerful, and to overcome it takes practice. Somebody here posted a really good article that discusses how to overcome that instinct. In short, the doctor suggests that you must condition yourself to it. It mentions that Kurt Cobain watched a politician who killed himself by shooting himself in the head on LIVE news...over and over again. This, essentially, desensitized him to the idea, to the act, and to the violence of it. This probably allowed him to overcome the almost-insurmountable survival instinct that will kick in when you go to take your own life.

I'd advise against Nylon, I tried that and it left marks on my neck so unless you're 100% sure you're going now I'd advise using a tie or something
