I was wondering if anyone knows whether a rope tied to this would hold my body. I'm 5'5 and 90kg. This silver thing is on a fire door in my bedroom

Have you tried grabbing it and putting some weight on it? TBH, I kinda doubt it will hold your weight. You're not planning on full suspension from that, are you?

How is it going? Any better? I know how very capable you are of getting things done when you have set your mind to it, so I believe you can do GREAT on the test.

I get the feeling. I'm 39 now and still, every time I have a deadline approaching that looks dire, suicide is the first place I go. It's gonna get me one of these days...

I don't think that thing will hold your weight, by the way. I have one in my apartment and I've broken off the arms holding less weight than that on it.

I don't think it will hold weight very well. However, tying one end of the rope to the handle on the other side, draping it over the top of the door and then shutting it is always an option. Wish you the best and relief from your stress

Thank you Cathy, I'm going to work very hard. It's a lot of information to remember that's all x
Cathy, you've made me feel much better now because you've made me feel capable of passing the exam. I'm still revising but I don't feel as worried or anxious anymore.
