• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

I am joking. I am not into chess. I don't even know the rules. I just read some articles about the finals. I rooted for DIng. The underdog who was open about his mental health issues. I admire that. But maybe this is not a good stategy. He collapsed under the pressure and made a pretty big mistake and hence he lost the game. Mental health issues can ruin so much. It is impressing how far he came despite all of that. He must have a strong mind. I would be curious to learn more. But sadly history is written by winners. And people who lose won't be remembered in sports. I am not sure whether he won a world tournament before.

My life goes on. And his probably will too. But it must be hard to stomach.

I did follow the match, but I didn't know Ding had any mental issues. Ding was the defending champion, he
won last year.

The games were interesting, but to me, the event seems a bit dull. First, Magnus, the actual highest
rated chess player who might be the best chess player of all times, does not want to
participate, because it requires too much effort. Second, the personalities of the Ding and Gukesh
are just not exciting .
