Well I'm thinking about ending it all on Independence Day, exactly three weeks after my 38th birthday. We will see how everything goes with my life between now and then. I'm seeing a therapist and a psychiatrist now and am taking Cymbalta. With having 3 chronic painful conditions, it has eased my pain about 85% but all I want to do is sleep and nothing else after work. I'm thinking of taking Cymbalta before the SN as it will help me relax. I will also be speaking with my therapist for the second time on Tuesday afternoon as well as doing a consultation about my over $100k of debt as I will likely be filing bankruptcy. Maybe some things will work out to prevent me from ctb on the day I have marked to do so.

Does declaring bankruptcy not eseentially clear all your debt like it does in the UK? It just means you can't get things on credit for a certain number of years.
A failed business... Then I decided to get personal loans to pay off some of that debt and lived off of it while having a mediocre job and over 4 years, it balloned to be that much. I plan to discharge all of the business credit and personal loan debt.
I am from the US. A Chapter 7 leads to a discharge of all unsecured debt which stays on your credit report and on public record for 10 years. Things like student loans, taxes, child support, and other debts can't be discharged. Luckily I have none of those. There are ways to remove a bankruptcy from your credit report early although it would still remain in public record. You can still get credit but it would be in form of secured debt instead of unsecured debt. If I am still alive, I will go through credit repair in a couple of years and I try to remove the bankruptcy. Best thing for me to do is be humble, live within my means, and work my way up slowly with a business.
