Goodbye threads are so hard for me.

I always choke up after I read them. Every damn time. If it's your time, and I don't post in your thread, please don't think I don't care. I'm probably thinking about you. A lot.

Sometimes I find it within myself to send a private message instead, but not always. There are often tears. I just wanted you all to know I do care, even if I can't properly say goodbye.

Goodbye threads are very bittersweet. I understand how you feel, love. My heart aches for them, but I'm always happy to know they will finally be at peace... I tend to lurk in the threads, sending my love until their very final moments. And we hear you too. Your love doesn't go unacknowledged. I care for you too.

At first they didn't bother me too much but now they really get to me, especially when it's several in one day.

I'm not sure I can stand reading more goodbye threads, and it makes me feel like an a**hole. I want to pay my respects and discuss alternatives if there are signs of hesitation, however subtle. However, it's harrowing to not being able to help fellow human beings in pain and just watch their lives end, especially as it sometimes would have been enough to give the person a hug and sit down and talk over a cup of coffee.
