I love exercise so fucking much it removes any thoughts of ctb from my brain it makes me so happy. I need to do it practically every day though or the SI does tend to come back very quickly, but I feel like I'm on a god damn cloud after a 15 minute run tonight oh my god it's so great. For however long I'm exercising + a few hours afterward, my brain is focused on one thing and one thing only, it's like a primal instinct kicks in and every other thought is forced out with no say in the matter

feeling amazing 😄

ps. maybe this is better for off topic? i cant really tell what this subforum is supposed to be for tbh

When I was in recovery, exercise also helped me a ton. It really is one of the greatest exploits to force your body to release endorphins and other reward hormones. Nice work, my friend.
Aromatherapy also did a great deal for me as well. Don't underestimate the mood boosting capacities of having a nice and pleasant scent in your room!

Also, this is the correct place to make this post, don't worry.

Follow-up to this! I've managed to go out on a walk everyday since this. Truly the hardest part is just taking the iniative to start the activity. Afterwards you'll get into the flow! Yay!

Exercise is a good way to get those endorphins. Way better than chocolate.
