Ok so.

I have a coleman propane powered latern and have 2 propane canisters.

Ive never used a propane lantern but wonder if this can be used in say a medium sized trash bag since I don't think I have to worry about flames destroying the bag/ course maybe heat unless I can prop the bag so it don't come in contact with latern? I have 2 canisters, but really hope I wouldn't have to swap to a 2nd canister of one is potent enough.

I would use zzzquil mix w/ jose cuervo red sangria margarita as a tranq.

Does this sound feasible?

Might melt the plastic bag if it makes contact.

It is gonna throw off other gases like carbon dioxide, as well. Don't know how that would affect the experience.

I don't have a tent otherwise of course I kinda woulda used that - however tents are big capacity wise but idk if a trash bag is gonna cut it. I'll think of something.

Oooo I know, I got tarp - that would work better - just wrap myself like a burrito.

Perhaps you could call the company that sold the lantern and canisters and ask them which tents they don't recommend to use with those items :smiling:

Jokes aside, if you are planning on doing this at home, maybe it would be possible to do it under a dinner table with some sheets and quilts thrown over so as to create a type of cave for yourself.

No, I don't plan to do this @ home. I'm going out in a secluded area I have picked and despite using the tarp, the 'atmosphere' will have additional CO buildup as it's well underground.
I just don't think the latern will shut off like those mr buddy heaters when it's not receiving enough oxygen.

This is the latern I got.

So is 1 - 1LB canister of Coleman propane enough to suffocate off from? Esp. in a small environment. I don't have much experience with propane.

i would get a co meter and do tests from afar outdoors in a remote area away from people. You can monitor the co level from afar with an app like ip webcam.
