So, my best friend's weight dropped to 38 kg. He was tested for cancer, coronavirus, stomach problem but it returned negative. He mysteriously won't take mass even from binge eating anymore. They are still searching what "disease" he caught.
Meanwhile - I know it appears stupid and will lead to similar comments - would you have any secret tips and tricks of food or diets to share in order to feed him in excess and keep the gains ?

Was he always thin and "I can eat anything" or was this just a sudden drop? I had guys in my boot camp platoon that were "double ration recruits" and it meant they just got double. Maybe check out those protein powders? I know shakes and ice cream will put weight on me, not for the better.

He always has been rather light weight but now it reached another level, which is alarming. He was eating normally in quantities but very not diversified, like meat with potatoes at every meal to caricature it. He tried some greasy and sugary junk food but to no avail. Better focus on some nutritive and balanced ones I guess, and consult a nutritionist. I'll suggest other tracks. Cheers

Ya nutritionist would be best I think. There's that whole body type thing (I put on weight fast and lose it very slowly, but can gain muscle quicker). There may be some weird food allergy going on?

Natural fats are better that unnatural ones (eg avocados > pizza). Nuts can be very good too, also cooking with butter will increase the fat intake, although not everything is cooked well with butter. Try getting him to have more brown carbs than white carbs, although sometimes white is better if you have digestive issues. Remember there are good calories and bad calories, healthy ones and unhealthy ones. Your friend's body is fighting a tough disease, so the body needs high nutrition intake. I know fish can also be a very good one for healthy eating.

Some foods I'd suggest;
Fish
Nuts
Avocado
Peanut butter
Full fat milk
Paneer/halloumi (cooking cheeses)
Fruits fruits and lots of fruits (maybe get natural juices with no added sugar)
Potatoes (mashed ones with butter and salt is quite nice, alternatively baked with the skin left on)
Lots of green veggies (they may not be fattening, but they are needed for nutrition intake)

I am not a nutritionist, this is just my suggestion from my own knowledge.

(ps junk food like pizza is fine in moderation, just isn't as good for the body)

It seems that he has no "disease" but just a high metabolism. "A high metabolism means you'll need to take in more calories to maintain your weight [than other people]."
You can ask Google. There are lots of (expensive) "weight gaining" products out there.

I forwarded some of the suggestions. Thanks!

His health has always been fragile and we always expected it would eventually go downhill. I'm just not prepared for it. Never will be

Yesss, muffins are always a great choice. I don't know where you're located, but Costco muffins used to fatten me up quite a bit when I ate them regularly :)):))

He'is in France. I'm not sure muffins are one of our local specialty :ahhha: although pastry deserves high prop credits. "Madeleine" cakes would be the closest and yummy !

Not sure how hard they are to get in France, but I would recommend steroids. Speaking from experience, go with Testosterone and Anadrol (I used more than these two, but was looking for lean/dry gains). I gained about 30 lbs in two months. Not fat - muscle. I actually have a more defined six pack now. Price-wise, in the US, steroids are relatively cheap and very easy to get.

PM me if you want details and sources. Not going to post those public.

Hi

Thanks for the recommendation. I take some androgenic cream myself with benefits but true steroids is out of question.

I have/had 2 friends at SS who had their life destroyed by very short term treatments of steroids, even after a single shot and the other one after a couple of weeks, who is leaving soon as a consequence of it. Their physical and/or psychological health crashed drastically afterwards and to be honest for one it has been the most intense suffering that I witnessed on this site by far. I was able to monitor the fall for months and it was hell times of agony. Thus, no jeopardy on this path after those experiences. But great that it works for you. Please pay attention to yourself

Well, I've been on them quite a while now - about 2 years non-stop. Please keep in mind there are many steroids, I'm specifically referring to the kind used to build muscle. Testosterone is in every male on the planet. Actually having too low of a level can lead to physical and mental health problems.

The simplest regimen - what I did first was 400mg/week of Test E - 2 injections per week. You absolutely need some kind of AI - this prevents too much estrogen from building up in your body. It seems strange, but many steroids cause excess estrogen, as well as raising your testosterone level. Excess estrogen, as well as too little estrogen, can cause physical and mental issues as well. I've settled on 12.5mg of Aromasin every 3 days. This works well for my cruise test levels, as well as my blasts that also include tren, adrol, and sdrol.

I have a very good friend who got some kind of steroid pill for lung issues, called prednisone. This is a terrible drug. It causes many, many issues in a lot of people. One of those medicines that causes more harm than good.

Nice list. You've been looking in my cupboards :smiling:

You could potentially add coconut oil to the list.

However, body types aside, there is a growing idea that it's not nutritional fat that makes us gain weight, it's excess carbs. Excess carbs get laid down as fat. Visceral fat to be precise rather than adipose. Unfortunately, that's not helpful for someone that wants to gain weight healthily. I'm not even sure that's possible if someone is losing weight for no reason - that would point at an underlying condition and it's there that I'd concentrate.

1-2 year ago I went to the gym regularly and did many body weight exercises. That combined with healthy and much protein food made me gain some good muscle weight. Sadly, my depression made me stop and I lost some of it and now I'm underweight again.

Just generally as much of a balanced diet as possible.
Plenty of good fats, nuts, oily fish (fish oil) rice, oats.
To be honest take it or leave it but I'm being truthfully and going from personal experience...
The elite want to destroy us and the easiest way to destroy a human undetected is through their hormone systems.
I only understand men's, in which if it were my friend or family I would recommend he took 100mg deca 100mg testosterone weekly.
If his liver and kidneys are fine. Maybe a couple of courses of oxymethelone, dianabol. Will most definitely keep or put weight on anyone. Assuming he's an average man roughly 30 lbs within 8 weeks. Some of it will be water, but that's better than fat gain.

Hi there;

When I am facing dangerously low weight I resort to Boost or Ensure. I do not know if they carry these brands in your country.

These are health beverages with calories and nutrition. I prefer the chocolate flavour. It is fast, easy, and hard to argue against.

Hope your friend has a successful recovery.

People have made a lot of really good suggestions here. I also tend to lose weight extremely easily, and tend to have to overheat to maintain body weight. eating small meals every couple hours might also work better than eating larger meals. here's a list of some of the things I eat to try to gain weight.

cheesecake can be bought frozen and is very high calorie
peanut butter
fast food
avocado
boost/ensure
whey protein with milk and strawberry or chocolate powder
High sodium foods since being underweight tanks blood pressure
eggs
fatty meats like pork
multivitamins because malnutrition causes lack of appetite
pastas and things like that because of the carbs are higher calorie
raviolis stuffed with cheese you get fatty cheese and carbohydrate
and basically any junk food that enters my mind

Following further exams, my friend was summoned urgently by the gastroenterologist. Now in suspense, crossing fingers it's not some crap like pancreatic cancer or the likes. I'm teary from the fear.

Check your mail inbox, your friend should get tested for worms. It happens also in humans from time to time, not just something that dogs or cats deal with. Reason people love salt so much is because one of its major functions is antiparasitic.

When i had weight problems before, i took appetite stimulant capsules. Its just vit. b complex with iron and buclizine hydrochloride. Maybe he could try it if it doesnt clash with any of his meds. Eating rice with every meal helps too (just keep his blood sugar in check)

Did he got checked for thyroid problems too? That usually can cause abnormalities in metabolism.

Thanks again all. If the event of a serious condition is cleared out, I will continue to forward him a synthesis of your suggestions

About thyroid, he didn't comment that it was tested especially, just that he passed many varied tests. I'm thinking the doctors thought about it ?

ask him if his thyroid has been checked, if not tell him have the docs check it. Weight loss is 1 sign of an over active thyroid. There are others like insomnia, hyper, anxiety...
