Depakote isn't something which is reliably lethal. Not sure whether you meant 100mg or 1000mg, but both are well within the normal therapeutic range. For epileptics the dose range is about 400-2000mg. It isn't sedating in a nice way, especially the higher you go, so can't imagine you'd go peacefully even if it worked. I've taken it at all dose levels and neurologists had no concern about prescribing to someone fresh out of the ICU after overdosing on neuro meds. If you want to take the drug route it's not a good option, but there are lots of things which would get the job done. Some pills offer pretty consistent results. Have a look at the PPeH, its information is mostly accurate.
