I have a 5mm rope.
I made them into 10mm overlap and padded them out of socks, and when I pulled them around my neck, they seemed to tighten to some extent.

Can I fail if I try a full suspension with this rope? I'm 5'8 and 52kg. (Not sure if that came out right—I used a translator.)

did i translate that right? What are the reasons for the failure?

i always gone with partial hanging it can be a bit tricky to get the pressure on the right spots and SI saved me a few times also been stooped.

i think full suspension have a higher success rate since you cant stop it

SI are the biggest problem with partial hanging

Hey, do you have a strong anchor point? If so please test it before your attempt. Also I'd suggest you to buy a 12mm polyester rope, that would be 100% safe. Which knots do you want to use?
