  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

Are there any mega threads about full suspension hanging? I couldn't find any.
I plan on CTB'ing soon and that's pretty much the only available method to me. I don't want partial, because I'm afraid that will fail should I not find the right spot and that's a no for me. With full suspension, death is eminent.
I wanted to ask how long it takes for you to get unconscious with full suspension, and of course, how long it takes for you to actually die. I am considering a tree right now, but I wanted to know how to be 100% sure it will hold my weight. Also wanted to ask, if I do manage to find the spot, will that make the process of being unconscious quicker? Or will the rope just slide from the spot as my body struggles to breathe? Is the knot used for this the same as with partial?
I'm sorry if alike threads have been posted before, but I wanted to make one of my own so all my questions can be answered in one.

You are right. Full suspension won't break your neck. It's not a long drop.

I was planning to drink a bottle of vodka - put the noose on and then wash a tablet of fentanyl down with the last gulp.
anyone have some guidance as to not screw this up?

I have been debating on the same. The only thing that scares me about full suspension isn't the pain, more so the panic I will feel before going unconscious, because it must be bad when your survival instinct kicks in. Even if it's just 15 seconds, I don't want those to be my last moments, if that makes any sense. I think alcohol would help a lot.

It's my method too and I'm definitely doing it drunk - I can't imagine being sober for this. Those several seconds probably feel like an eternity.

I'm thinking - prepare everything while sober, tie the knots, test the anchor etc. to reduce the chance of messing it up and then get drunk, but not to the point of being completely smashed - just enough to calm down and reduce SI. Some pain killers or anti-anxiety drugs might also be a good idea.
