From what I'm hearing, both are painless but may be a bit uncomfortable. I heard full suspension takes about 10 seconds to go unconscious. I'm thinking of trying full suspension but I don't have any high anchors.

I guess it depends on how you do it. One user on here (can't remember who) tried full suspension (the support broke) but said they weren't in pain or panicking, apparently it was like a static TV for a few seconds and then lights out.

I've read that full suspension had slightly more pain or discomfort. I'd go for full suspension, kicking that chair is like pulling the trigger already. It's already out of my hands as the life is snuffed out of me. Can't imagine how scary it is though. Partial suspension sometimes can be aborted midway. But it also depends on where you can tie the rope to, some don't have access to a nearby beam high enough for full suspension to tie the rope to.

IMO partial is more scary because it can be aborted, you think it's over and then you wake up. Seems like a shit method :P
Full suspension is so finite - I take comfort in the fact that once I decide to go trough with it there will be no turning back. The end, roll credits.

The website 'lostallhope' has hanging (it doesn't differentiate between full and partial, apparently) at an agony rating of 25.5/100. Compare this to the 18 of jumping from a great height, 95 of setting fire to yourself, 51 for cyanide, 5.5 for shotgun to the head (why this isn't 0, I'm not sure), and 71 for cutting wrists.

What I've noticed about the difference between partial and full suspension, it's harder to commit to full suspension, while it's easier to abort with partial, so in the end they are comparable in lethality when attempting.

With partial suspension, although you can probably lose consciousness less painfully than full suspension, the rope could move out of place when convolsin, possibly causing a regain of consciousness, causing it to be more painful than anticipated.

But with full suspension, although unprobable of aborting after kicking the "chair", you however have no control of the position of the rope once you kick the "chair" possibly causing a more painful death than anticipated just as well.

It's hard to say which one is worse.

In my opinion the hard part is when you're losing consciousness, your body is tingling and you're starting to have convulsions. This is where you make the real choice which makes it so difficult
