I'm guessing it should since EEDB hoods looks similar

The link won't open for me, but I don't see why it wouldn't work. Your exhaled CO2 needs to be able to escape to have most comfort and not experience all the negative effects.

Thanks for the speedy replies. Here's a picture of this hood. The inner neck seal is not overly tight so should let any build up if CO2 out.

Is that the inlet to the hood, the part with the threads on it? How are you going to connect the line from the tank? Just tape it?

I'm using an EEBD hood, but this looks interesting also--Ask Greenberg on the Inert Gas Exit Bag Mega Thread about it

I was thinking gluing into place.

Or would this sleep mask work together with an exit bag. So I would wear the sleep mask and then place the bag over my head.
So if the sleep mask leaked any escaped gas would still be within the bag.

I don't know on this one. As @outrider567 said I'd post about this in the N2/Exit Bag Megathread and see what some of those experts have to say.

Dr Philip Nitschke in a video in the PPeH says that you can.

Don't use CPAP masks to CTB.
A very interesting video that is. Thanks for sharing. Dr.N shows the tube coming through the jaw line. Do we block up the open tube connection at the back of the head.

That's not a tube, it's the sensor of the gas detector. Nothing is blocked anywhere.

At the back of this hood there is an oxygen connection. Does this get blocked off to then allow the tubing to come up past the jaw with the Nitrogen.

Nop, he's pumping the N₂ from there.

No.
The N2 is being pumped through a pipe up from the neck.

What I'm saying is that there's an air inlet pipe connector at the back of the head part of this mask. Does this get blocked off or can it be left.

Cheers and sorry for the confusion. Is there a part we can purchase from his regulator to the pipe.

In the PPeH he doesn't specify if he's using an adapter to connect the tube to the flow regulator to the hood.
The hood and the tube can the purchased alone without the pump.

I know. But watching the video he uses the pump hose connected to the Nitrogen regulator. I would love to know how and if there is an adapter for this.

This what I'm saying.
The head mask pipe some how is connected to the regulator. How has Dr.Nick done this.

Hi, It would be great if he would just make a specific hood for this method and then sell it, or point us to a specific hood/mask that can be used for this. I know the bag is proven to work but is maybe a little janky. I have just been paranoid that my bag would have a small leak in it somehow. I look at my bag all the time and even think about making a second one. How do you feel about this specific hood that you have been looking at? Did you determine if the gas comes up from the front or back yet?
