I'm 125 lbs, 5'4 and I don't have a good place to do this in my apartment. I have a metal bar in my shower but I'm suspect that it's not strong enough or high enough. I would thinking of maybe buying a pullup bar. My apartment has weird walls and it's impossible to screw in anything so that's out the picture. I would really like to be successful. I'm considering buying a firearm in case I try for days and it doesn't work. I'm in the US so I can get one super easy. I prefer full hanging because it is less mess. I have about a month to figure everything out.

Anyway, even my closet bar is low. I was also considering a belt but I've heard thinner is better. Where on my neck do I place the item?

Absolutely any tips would be helpful.

Also, what are mistakes you made when you did full hanging?

I guess thinner is better for constricting your carotid arteries. It's most comfortable for me to place it right below the adam's apple, it somehow doesn't compress the trachea as much as when I place it elsewhere.

But I choose partial hanging considering I would be able to adjust the rope if it accidentally slips to the wrong place
