Freezing to death

My beighbor said she wants to retire to Alaska so when she is ready she can go out in woods and freeze to death. She insists it is painless and peaceful. Comments?

I have heard of people using this method to euthanize animals such as fish and stuff because they're supposed to just fall asleep..

Probably not the most pleasant way to go. You can feel this method at it is happening. Check out the more painless methods available on this forum.

This is likely to work if you use alcohol and benzos to fall asleep. Hypothermia will kill you. You won't feel a thing.

How cold would it have to be & how long would it take to ctb? Just curious.
I had thought about this but I don't think it gets cold enough here for a long enough time for me to use it as a viable option. Also, when you get things like frostbite on your hands or feet would your fingers and toes hurt? I guess it would only hurt for a little while and then it would eventually go numb. If you could pass out, I guess it would be pretty peaceful.

Where I live it gets cold af. Like minus 40 no problem, I live right beside a massive lake that gets frozen and wolves and stuff can get to you halfway out. I have thought about this method a few thousand times

hypothermia is one of my favorite methods, ive written about this many times. my only concern is wild predators, one of the biggest problems is the fear of waking up to beasts eating you while your still alive but too weak to defend yourself. but if you could find like some kind of cave that's high up enough and structured in such a way that animals cant climb to, then that would be ideal.

Even Alaska has a summer. I think freezing to death is very painful. I almost got frostbit and my hands were in pain.
