Why is peaceful assisted suicide so rare? We weren't asked to be born into this life so why can't we depart in a humane way? I understand there's those living fantastic lives but what about those in a living hell? It's so wrong that we can't choose when we want to go peacefully. Other methods seem so difficult and a lot of the time horrific.

I feel the same way. I am trapped in this world because of the fear of failing ctb. It hurts me being alive and more than anything I wish that it is easier to leave. It is cruel to deny people the option of a peaceful exit and expect them to suffer until old age against their wishes.

It is worse than simply being denied a peaceful, painless death. We are denied death in any form not "approved." Our masters decide what kind of death is acceptable for us and which is not. And they do everything in their power to enforce their will. They will use law enforcement officers to compell people to live/prevent suicides if possible. It's certainly not a state of freedom.

It's made deliberately difficult for two reasons:

1. Dead people don't tithe.
2. Dead People don't pay taxes.

Follow the money, works everytime.

Answer (1 of 8): Because those who "force" you to live, either by not giving you the option to die peacefully with possibly the minimum amount of suffering or by making you feel guilty by saying stuff like "think about your family!" or "you will miss out stuff" are either unable to see the object...

The modern society can be a cruel world in many ways. People want to prolong human life. There is denial of human death. The society and our relatives force us to live. People ignore suffering. They want us to die from old age or maybe they want us to live forever. Most of us aren´t in danger to be murdered. But the prolonging of life doesn´t suit people for any length of time. When we suffer from chronically illness or disabilities, it may be best to die. A peaceful death can be the best gift you can give to yourself. Why should we die naturally? Should people suffer for decades only because life expectancy is high? 300 years ago, people rarely lived longer than 40 years. The best I have done in my life is not to have children in this world of suffering.

I'm from a country with like the most liberal euthanasia laws in the world. But i don't wanna apply for it. I don't wanna be analysed and judged by doctors anymore i just wanna go.
