really good examples of jumping are suicide vids of ppl doing so. reaffirmed for me that it really is a very fatal & instant method.

de très bons exemples de sauts sont les vidéos de suicide de personnes le faisant. m'a réaffirmé que c'est vraiment une méthode très fatale et instantanée.
What IS good here IS that WE see as if WE were there

He stepped out and walked away smiling. Neither the medic, or his stretcher were necessary?

It's reassuring for me to see that even people who don't dive or jump almost feet first end up hitting the ground violently.

sent it to u!! & right, there are even vids of people jumping from like 5 stories feet first, & they still die instantly. very reaffirming. the fearmongering & paranoia around jumping is wayyy overboard.

from the point of view upthere, jumping feels scary
that's why I think that it's best to have a partner holding hands, if jumping is your choice

It isn't really a dive more like a plop. It seems peaceful on the way down though doesn't last long enough. I am not a jumper.

I've always had acrophobia but I'm completely convinced that this is the least painful way to go. Even if I'm absolutely terrified it probably will last less than 5 seconds so who cares. As long as I can get my feet off the edge I'm golden. Maybe I'll pick up skydiving as a hobby to desensitize myself.

Yes best ctb but where....

Im very lucky. I live 2 hours away from a 120 meter high bridge over solid ground. Its also quite remote and the ground beneath it is not easily accessible. The main problem is the courage. The survival instinct is terrible when staring down. There are also some trees so part of me is scared of the trees impaling me or breaking my fall on the way down. Also I need to pick a time when there is no traffic.

@cheaptrick are you me ? :)) exact same sittuation, acrophobia but I know this is the best and most reliable method, I also have a great jumping spot less than 2 hrs drive away, 132 meter high bridge. I'll be going at night, I think it'll make it a bit easier mentally not being able to see the bottom but my main worry, aside from not having the minerals of course is making "sure" I'll land on my head first. I really don't want to jump face first because I don't trust I'll be able to keep my arms stretched out, I'd much rather jump on my back, facing the sky so I don't have to see the ground/water getting closer and so I can't put my arms in front of me. Hope that made sense. Good luck to you

while effective i wouldn't call it the best, it's rather messy and the si to jump is to the roof

Thanks friend. Everything you said makes perfect sense to me. Landing correctly is definitely a huge concern for me as well. I heard the human center of mass is closer to the hips so it's hard to remain head first. I remember seeing someone discuss potentially strapping weights to their head to counteract that, but it seems excessive to me. I'm pretty sure instinct will take over mid jump and I'll probably try to protect my head too but I'm hoping the impact will be enough to render that pointless.

I thought 10 to 15 stories in a building is 95% to 98% fatal owo — dying by 5 stories feet first sounds pretty remarkable ʅ(◞‿◟)ʃ

There aren't very many tall buildings in my country so jumping and surviving just scares me TwT
