Personally I'm hanging. Something appealing to me about fading into unconsciousness. Gun would prob give me anxiety - holding it to head/ mouth pulling trigger. Alcohol would help.

Gun. Easy and quick, also certain. I went with OD and now I've lost access to the gun I should've used on my first attempt.

I'm using a shotgun in a few days. Instant, almost impossible to do wrong, and I don't need to worry about backing out partway.

I have a permit for it so if I hide it I will go to jail for years because they will assume I have sold it.

Firearm is instant but violent.
Hanging is not instant and non-violent, but it is probably one of the if not the quickest non-violent method there is.

Just asking has anyone watched the video online of the girl with mental illness, the cops taped her putting a rope around her neck with knots , then she payed on the floor , they went in still videoing her and she was dead in minutes , no bringing her back , of course the cops got terminated for tapeing and letting her kill hersself , she did this so easy , walked around with a rope with knots , layers face down on the ground and boom gone

The 1 cop can be seen and saying that she hadent done cpr in years .It was really sad but the fact that this girl could do this but just getting the right spots makes me wish I could

I just tryd looking for it , I can't remember what I typed in to find it last night .Im still gonna look , this young girl dyed right in front of them as they recorded her , they let her put the knots in the rope around her neck and walk around , she lays down and then they kept saying to her get up , and that's when panic set in that she was gone ..

Hanging painless, peaceful and far less messy. A gun, especially a shotgun, makes a mess. I know first hand from a friend shooting herself that while it may be quick, it is messy. She also did not die instantly. The paramedics found a heart beat and tried to revive her. Fortunately, she did not make it, if they had saved her she most likely would have lived in a vegetative state. Something, she would not have wanted. A gun shot to the head does not guarantee death.

It was so quick I just don't understand, I was just on google again trying to figure out what I typed in to find it as my history on google is not being saved for /well my own reasons /but now makes it harder to find the video .Im still in awe over how quick she died and the fact they all watched and couldn't save her .

There are ways that aren't guaranteed, for sure. If you aim properly (through the back of the mouth tilted slightly upward), then it should be near instant.

PROS OF GUN: Easier to conceal, easier to do anywhere regardless of people around, quicker method than hanging, can be painless if the first bullet hits in the right spot, and cannot be backed out of once started.
CONS OF GUN: Cost of materials is higher than hanging, materials are harder to get, if you somehow survive the attempt the physical damage to the body is worse than surviving hanging, and you leave behind a far more graphic corpse for people to see.
PROS OF HANGING: Cost of materials is cheap compared to gun, alot better looking corpse compared to your head blown away by gun, fairly painless/almost euphoric if done properly, easier to access materials than a gun, and no mess.
CONS OF HANGING: You can't just do it anywhere/anytime like you can with a gun and takes longer to kill you than a gun.

Firearm hands down! But you gotta be careful. The preferable gun is a 12 gauge using 00 buckshot or PDX1 Defender. Make sure the ammo and gun are brand new and never aim at the chin. Point the barrel at the roof of your mouth. The key is to reach the center of the brain. Also I'd suggest studying how bullets react to ballistic gellitan. There are many videos on YouTube about it.
