how long does it take to die from 5 mg Fentanyl injected in my veins?

I do not know about injections, but fentanyl comes in micrograms...and 5 mg. is quite a bit.

I had a friend who injected heroin that was tainted with fentanyl. He died before getting the needle out. We are, however all different.
