fentanyl brain damage

Is there any risk to get brain damage from fentanyl od? I have found a way to get some m30s but am scared of the dosage. I dont want to take too little and end up a vegetable

I think only if you vomit which in of itself is a bigger risk than getting brain damage. If you consume more than enough fentanyl and do your best to prevent yourself from vomiting (antiemetics are the best for this), you'll most likely succeed.

You can avoid the risk of vomiting entirely by going the injection route instead. But then I think that also comes with the risk of you passing out before you inject the full amount? Admittedly I'm not entirely sure on that, but I've read it's more recommended to go the injection route if you can.

i was just thinking of crushing the pills and mixing with alcohol. I dont have any antiemetics for vomitting. I thought vomiting is not a big problem when doing this method is it?

Fentanyl is no joke. It is something I deal with very frequently in my line of work. We had three individuals overdose on fentanyl, two were resuscitated with some NARCAN, but one actually briefly passed away and is currently in trestment for brain damage.

Their goal wasn't to CTB, btw so please don't view me as the devil for that.

Their method for ingestion was by crushing it and snorting it.

The problem with cartel lab pills is getting an equal amount of fent in each pill. When you mix a batch it's not perfectly distributed. But i think that someone with zero tolerance and enough pills can easily die from it as long as they don't get rescued/narcan'd

I also failed to mention that from personal experience, NARCAN has a tendency to not work as effectively when rivaled against fentanyl, that being said, those responding to OD calls are usually carrying more than a single dose anyways.

Also, if you are actively still in the process of ingesting the fentanyl, you may briefly recover from your OD, but also relapse right into it due to the overwhelming amount in your system.

TL:DR, if no ones going to get in your way, it may be an effective route, but there is also a lot of what-ifs that play into OD method.

The individual is able still function, however they are, in my personal opinion as someone who isn't a medical professional outside of some ALS, somewhat low-functioning.

Make sure to take into account this individual was suffering from drug addition prior to this OD, however during my years of working with them, they were realitively normal outside of minor delusions. Now they have a very difficult time communicating as it would seem the portion of their brain thst deals with speech was the part most effected, mostly unintelligible while speaking and difficulty writing, but still able to communicate via notes. I hope that explanation helps a little bit?

If you overdose you will get brain damage due to lack of oxygen in the brain.
