Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

I landed on this idea last summer because it's fast and effective with practically no room for error as long as it's high enough, but it's been my boogeyman all year.
I think you have to have some cojones to go through with it, especially with out any drugs/alcohol. I got to the point where I was at the bridge trying to work up the courage to jump but backed out. It's undoubtedly lethal from a tall enough height. Some Liquid courage wouldn't be a bad idea.
Alcohol would make climbing the barrier a little difficult. And you have to wait for the alcohol to kick in before some weeny tries to play hero and stop you.
The Lions Gate Bridge in Vancouver is the spot for me but it's a couple of meters lower than the Golden Gate Bridge. The Golden Gate has about a 95% fatality rate so i'm guessing the Lions Gate is similar but the 5% chance of survival leaves me hesitant.
I don't want to jump over solid ground, I don't want to burst like a watermelon. However, the corpse the ocean leaves (bloater) is disturbing as well.
There's also the chance, I survive the fall badly injured in pain and slowly drown to death in fear and desperation.....these thoughts are so beautiful aren't they...FUCK!

Not sure about over water, if you land with feet first (imo you can't control how you land the drops too far). Some people survive, i'm guessing the 5% aren't knocked out.

The fall is so long you will start flipping and twisting most likely. Imo, jumping feet first would be the best bet at controlling your fall and maneuvering to land head first at the end.

He landed on his back moreso with his heels actually hitting the water first, although the back of his head surely had a massive impact so he was most likely KO'd instantly if not killed.
I saw that doc over a decade ago and actually booked a flight to SFO to jump off that bridge. I worked at an airline back then so I just no showed the flight (you don't get charged) but the doc takes me back to when I first made plans to die.
Me too. I visited the bridge and stood by the railing a few years ago to see if I could do it. I couldn't. I wasn't afraid. I just felt like I was at the border of a video game that can't be crossed. The swirling green water below was so inviting. I'll never forget it

I wanna say JUST DO IT but honestly I imagine it's pretty difficult if you're not 110% sure and you're thinking about how much your headspace is gonna suck as you're falling from the bridge. But there's ways to overcome SI like the others say, drugs/alcohol being one option. Meditation maybe, too, and getting absorbed in something, like how pretty the ocean is, so you're not stuck thinking about how unpleasant it would be. The key here is to not think about it, or at least try not to think about how it's gonna feel to fall.
comment on this because I also chose the jump method. Alot of people mentioned the Golden Gate in San Francisco, it actually not high at all, according to wiki the "clearance below" at high tide is only 220 feet, that mean the bridge when you jump hit the water, 220 feet is nothing really.
I want the one that is 1,000 feet. and concrete, basically I want for sure result in dead. There bridges that 700 ft, 900 ft, for sure that guanrantee death than the low height Golden Gate.
Anyone go to bridges, how high are those guard rail? Please share with me if you went to bridges before.
