Feeling while dead

I'm not smart with biology or anything but does anyone ever wonder if when they ctb there cells will still live and feel for a few days and their consciousness will like go to those cells and you'll just feel yourself rotting but not really yourself because your brain Is dead but still feeling your cells if that makes sense? It's kind of a worry if mine that like my consciousness will just move into my cells or something

This is my worst nightmare. God I hope not. As far as I know, once you lose consciousness, thats it. Your dont feel anything at all

I've heard of slight hair growth, like a clean shaven man who died ending up with stubble.

I don't think consciousness exists outwith brain activity.

I sure hope so too but also nothing can be created or destroyed so it feels like my consciousness has to go somewhere?
