If the carotid arteries are compressed properly, you will feel these effects in this order -
dizziness, vision fading away and loss of hearing, legs and hands shaking, losing control on your thoughts and then its all black. All of this takes at most 8 seconds if done right. If you feel pressure building up in your head and trouble breathing, you are doing it wrong. You can have trembling feet even when the carotids are not properly compressed. You see there is a sheath that contains jugulars, carotids and an important nerve(i think its called the vagus nerve or something, google it if you want). If that nerve is compressed, you will experience some convulsions. Successful carotid compression always involves loss of the ability to see after around 4-5 seconds. If you can see everything even after 5-6 seconds, you are doing it wrong. The ability to see is lost in three ways(it depends on the structure of your retina and the arrangement of con cells in your retina). These three ways are - vision going black(which I experience), vision going white(Dani Paradox mentioned it once), and vision going colorful(i have never seen anyone mentioning this in this forum but it happens in some rare cases, i read it on wikipedia). Hearing loss also takes place in two ways. First, you can't hear anything at all. Second, you hear a very high frequency whistle. Its either of the two. Its the first in my case. So you see, successful carotid artery compression involves a few more things than just shaking feet. And yes temperature effects. Some people feel their heads to grow warmer while some feel cold. I feel coldness in my chest, neck, face and head. You can be compressing only that nerve which goes parallel to the carotid if you don't experience any of this.
I forgot to mention this. You will also feel tingling in your head, face and neck.
what are the chances of the noose coming undone? There is a gap above my neck and worried it will come undone, but still tight around neck?
I feel youbest time to do it is as soon as you wake up. Not practical for me as I don't live alone. Sickness came in 3 seconds. The only time I feel safe and happy is when I have the noose around my neck. Definitely time to go. I've go bipolar daily with a nervous system disorder which means I cant take meds. This world is fucked. People are made to suffer
I'm using a slipknot, but If I can loosen it by hand I'm worried it can loosen by convulsing
I can say I've blacked out before not intentionally but every thing that is mentioned happened to me , my vision changing ,my hearing going strangest feeling but almost so peaceful, I wasn't intoxicated, I was in my bathroom standing up and it just hit me , woke up confused, didn't know where I was .

I've heard if you do it right your last few moments before you pass out are peaceful.......I can say I've blacked out before not intentionally but every thing that is mentioned happened to me , my vision changing ,my hearing going strangest feeling but almost so peaceful, I wasn't intoxicated, I was in my bathroom standing up and it just hit me , woke up confused, didn't know where I was .
I think the day I passed out in the bathroom I had a seizure, I say this because my second c-section I had a seizure right after the epidural, then came the seizure in the bathroom,I had 1 years after , then this year same thing , standing up head first into a glass bowl, flew backwards ( my daughter witnessed the whole thing ) woke up confused. But it was def a peaceful experience, it was by no means scary because it happened so fast .Ib
