Have you ever felt that this life isn't yours? That you have no control? Over you, your mind and actions or anything else? That everybody else is living their life to the fullest and you're just breathing. Watching. Waiting. For what? You don't know. And you were struck all at once about how everyone else was out there going through their regular courses, while you were suspended, waiting, caught in a terrible crevice between life and death.

Very much so, yes. I'm existing just to say I exist at this point. It isn't living, it's the bare minimum of being alive.

I felt like that for years. A sort of brain fog. Which only fucked up my life even more.
