Sylveon,Gardevoir, Vaporeon,and Aegislash. Pretty much everyone except Aegislash is a very generic choice,but generic isn't always bad.

Got to say Lapras has some awesome moves, ice and water and even some fairy type moves? Sweet
Well it's a ghost steel type so I don't think it's generic at all. Honestly wish there were more versatile steel types

Ooh Fairy is new to me. I only played Gen III (LeafGreen) where Lapras is classified as a Water/Ice-type. Aside from being lovable, it was a very practical and powerful member of my team.Similar threads
