Depression and anxiety makes me so damn tired. I think my medication (mirtazapine) is a partial culprit as well. I was looking up ways to alleviate this crippling fatigue, and was met with tips like "eat lots of healthy protein and veggies and exercise daily". Bitch please I barely have the energy to get out of bed. At this point I'd rather just die than struggle with the most mundane tasks every day.

Mirtazapine. I was permanently exhausted, lost and disoriented when I was taking it. It even increased my depression to the point that my shrink decided to stop it and put me back on Prozac. I had the exact same reaction with antipsychotics.
Personally long walks in calm places like a forest helps me with fatigue and clear my head, it doesn't require much energy. Not sleeping through the day helps too, the more I sleep the more I am tired and depressed. Food I don't know, I eat mostly junk food but if I don't eat enough I lose weight pretty fast and it makes things worse.
Yeah I know it doesn''t help much but that's all I have.

I take mirtazapine and it makes me sleep long hours. I had difficulty getting up early and the doctor advised me to take it earlier in the evening (e.g. at 5 pm) due to the long half-life of the drug.

I know that feeling, the most sleep I get in 24 hours is usually 4 hours, if I'm lucky, witch that is a rare occurrence for me, after so many days of only 4 hours a sleep a day, sometimes less, I am so exhausted that my sleep kind of catches up with me, minimum 6 hours, most 7, and that's after many days of only 4 hours of sleep every 24 hours. I take over the counter sleep aid that is 50mg, that is the strongest you can get otc. Sometimes it helps, but my body gets used to it to fast, I start to get high tolerance, and it feels like its worthless. And my doctor didnt help much, I asked to be prescribed song strong sedatives, and instead he prescribes me otc hormone enhancer that is less GM's than the sleep aid I'm taking. He tells me after a month of taking this all natural hormone enhancers, that my insomnia should be completely gone. I didn't believe that BS he spouted at me, and I just left. So yea, I'm just stuck being an insomniac till I ctb. But I do hope it gets better for you, maybe you'll be luckier than I was, being that luck is non existent for me though

Mirtazapine will make you sleep for a long time. Ithe can also affect your glucose metabolism and cause hunger and weight gain.

I took that stuff. Didn't have energy problems other than it fucking with my sleep a bit.

I also have extreme and chronic exhaustion. It's hard to not feel guilty about not being able to do more. Sometimes I think exercise will help build my stamina, but sometimes it seems to wear me out and makes the exhaustion worse. I used to be fit and active. This sucks.

Depression can kick the shit out if your physical state. Sometimes I can sleep all day if in depressed. I don't even feel like getting out if bed to go to the bathroom. I don't even feel like moving.
