Good soap and lotion.
Good food (today I am in love with specialty sauerkraut and horseradish)
Finding a good "bad movie" and loving every awful bit of it (I'm watching Lemon, and Summer Of Blood both very bad)
Good weed, especially now that it's legalizing everywhere

Out of date clothing style
Tea (probably sometimes)
Video games (sometimes)
Hanging out with friends (it happens very seldom)
Old metal music and synthwave music
Walking in the woods or somewhere else in green areas (this still works perfectly)
Looking at animals / their behavior.

The smell of earl grey and chai tea is so intoxicating.

And lilies. Massive fucking Stargazers that drown you in their scent.

The smell of freshly washed and sun dried clothes.
The feeling of getting in a bed with fresh clean sheets. (extra points if it's freezing and the bed is toasty and warm from electric blanket or from a cat keeping that 'spot' just warm).
The smell of someone else freshly washed hair as you diffed off to sleep.
Ability to play and enjoy a violin at any place and time.
The sound of friends laughing. not at you, but with you.
Waking up to someone touching your face in a loving way.
Waking up to the smell of coffee
Being hugged by someone you care about.

gah. i'm a softy.

Pleasures of flesh... I like to feel the sunshine on my skin without seeing it but I don't like glasses and my fluffy hair isn't suited well for holding hats.
The smell of cinnamon is pure bliss... and cocoa powder, vanilla, the taste of oranges, stretching exercises... the glass of cool water in a hot day... the glass of warm water in a cold day, Black Reach landscape from Skyrim is so magical... Fairy tale-ish music, melodic black metal... stillness during meditation. (Although I wouldn't call it meditation because I'm not deliberatly pondering about things, just stillness, was hard to start at first to give it even 5 mins, now I'm glad to spend more... that more like a pleasure for mind but brain is part of the body so I guess it counts to fair extent.)

I'll miss my partner and waking up to her smiling, waking me up with coffee, her hugs and I'll miss just being around her so much. I love her so much. I'll miss laughter (ironic right) but I will say I did manage to laugh through the hell. I'll miss the laughter with her and my good friends... laughing until my stomach hurts and until I cried.. I'll miss hugging and seeing my nephew smile and being able to spoil him. I'll miss everybody I guess. But I miss most things that have come and passed in life- being fully able bodied and once having the world as my oyster... I can hardly make it out of my house now. My friends are gone and the only interaction I have with family is false , I have to act the whole time that I'm happy and not in pain or depressed.
I'll also miss the little things
Like sitting in the sun with hot tea
Seeing people happy
The smell of flowers
The feelings of love and being loved, of being wanted,
I'll miss my mother, the kids, and my partner. I'll miss my dog too. She's always so happy seeing me , she runs up to me and doesn't leave my side, her tail wags so fast and she licks my Face like mad. I just know deep down he's happy I exist and am here and it's genuine
It's such a nice feeling. Animals never ask for much... unconditional love

unconditional love
How can that possibly be? I mean... how would you know if the love is unconditional? It has to apply to everyone and everything or not apply at all. If there is love for someone but no love for someone else, then a certain preference is present, one is perceived to be more advantageous than another (of course its might not the direct cause). Some circumstance/quality/whatever from the advantage group can likely be that condition that allows love to happen.
Stargazer
Oh, and I LOVE to pronounce vehement words in a pompous manner, like I'm some renowned political leader whose passionate speeches inspire whole nations. You know who I'm talking about...

Stargazer *shaking the left hand violnetly because I'm a leftie*... STARGAZER!!! MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHA *jumps around apartment*

Sorry, I'm basically a hopeless romantic, manic pixie dream girl...
Driving through an empty road at night with the windows down and music blaring
Going exploring with friends at 2am; whether it's in a Walmart or a forest
Cold, clear, and quiet creeks
Listening to nostalgic songs with/about loved ones
Puppies
Going to sleep instantly after a long day
Warm, goey cookies
When someone makes a joke that brings you to tears
Getting a haircut at the salon
Bare feet on fresh grass
Seeing your favorite band in concert
The beginning of a new relationship
When someone you like holds the hug after you think you should let go
Kissing someone for the first time

Erm... depends on my level of anhedonia.

Now, since I'm on the upswing, I'd say:
  • This place
  • Top Gear and The Grand Tour
  • Some entertaining movies that I keep going back to
  • Some songs that I'm listening to these days
On a bad day, it would probably be just this site.
Is this the department of redundancy department? Chai literally means tea.
(I know that the phrase is used to imply a specific variety of tea, it's just that I find it hilarious that that was the best name people could come up with.)

Having a smoke and watching a multi-coloured sunset. You've watched the sun go down so many times, yet it is equally mesmerising every time.

The thing I enjoy most is sitting on the couch in my hoodie, with a blanket, and just cracking open a pizza box right as I'm about to start a good movie. For me, that's really the number one thing in terms of sensory pleasures - everything else just disappears for a couple hours as I drift off into the film with a full belly. It's pretty ritualized too, like I have to have everything set out - soda, napkins, dessert. It's like a whole thing. Then I won't even take my first bite of food until the movie starts.

Other than that just the occasional cigarette.

A good cup of donut shoppe coffee made in my machine. My Epiphone Masterbilt acoustic guitar and my Prophecy GX Les Paul jacked into my Bugera tube amp on top of a 4 x 12 Raven speaker cabinet....and of course my 1971 Morley PFV effects pedal....that moment of pure Bliss when you sip the coffee; set down the cup; and flip the standby switch on 55 watts of pure vacuum tube power.... transports me back to the 70's....back to music and life and just breathing was pure pleasure.....

I sprinkle pumpkin-spice in the bottom of my coffeepot before brewing and it makes my whole apartment smell like a donut shop. I love it.

Also, adding the sensory pleasure of new pants that fit just right. I haaaaate buying clothes, but damn these pants feel great.
Also someone mentioned orgasms. Ten, even five years ago, I thought my whole life revolved around having as many orgasms as possible (mostly solo); at the time I just felt like my life was so miserable that I should have as much pleasure as I could get. Now they aren't even in my Top Fifty of things I'll miss. I'll miss good tea and lotion and pants and porkchops more than orgasms.
Getting old is kind of great.
I welcome the impotence of old age the way I would welcome getting off of a bucking bull at the end of a Rodeo. Had enough, thanks.

Good coffee, the smell and taste
The drive up a snowy mountain and seeing all the melting snow create stream and icicles
The smell of expensive cologne on a man's collar
The smell of a woman in the morning
Fuzzy blankets
Lace on smooth, clean skin
Music so good you can feel it in your heartbeat.

I'll miss my friends a lot. Even when I'm at my worst they can make me laugh.
My dogs, they're old and lazy and sleepy and love cuddling all day.
Getting drunk and feeling happy for once.
My mom. I love her so much.

Other than things already mentioned by others, I'm sad that I will no longer be able to watch my favorite series and cartoons. I just hope I'll be able to watch the last episode of Steven Universe before leaving this world. Best. Show. Ever. It would be nice to be able to watch every classic episode of Doctor Who too and catch up with Adventure Time and The Amazing World of Gumball. Damn, I'm such a kid.

lol yes you're right, I realized after I posted it that I can't really miss them *after* I ctb because I'll be gone.
So I guess "miss" is the wrong word.
Maybe, favorite sensory pleasures you still enjoy/ will be sorry to give up when you ctb is a better way to say it.
