I'm a loser because, in a fit of emotion, I tried to hang myself from a chandelier and, of course, I survived. My parents didn't care that I tried to kill myself. Now I understand that no one cares about me..

You're not a loser because the attempt didn't work. Sometimes things require careful planning but I'd you're in a emotional surge that can get in the way. Now you know to be more deliberate in the future. I'm sure your parents' lack of concern really stung but it doesn't reflect on your worth as a person.

It must be hard to deal with being in that situation and I get that for many people loneliness can be painful. Failing ctb really is what I fear and it sounds awful going through a failed attempt, but I wish you the best.
