Hi,

I just failed partial hanging. My face got all purple and I didn't loose conciousness for that long before knot fell out. I'm having trouble breathing and I can't breath and my throat really hurts. I can't to to the hospital its not that bad but does anyone know how I can start breathing all the way. Its freaking me out and I'm going to have a panic attack. Any help appreciated.

Edit.
Coughing and gagging now. Still can't breath, really lightheaded. Help if anyone knows

I found this as a reference for you. You may need treatment, I don't have experience with this

Hanging and breathing is practically impossible. If you hang completely you will pass out within 5 to 15 seconds and will not feel the urge to breath during this short period of time. The night-night-method offers the chance to block both carotid arteries without blocking the windpipe.

I'm pretty sure I've read there are serious risks with strangulation even with pressure removed before loss of consciousness...some people have dropped dead spontaneously later on. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes, from what I understand it's incredibly risky. Taken very seriously in hospital and you can find lots of discussion online about the dangers of this type of thing in bdsm/breath play communities.

If done correctly there is almost no risk; this information is spread to keep people from doing it.
