I wanted to pass JLPT before I kmsed.
I got 70/120 during practice tests for a certain section. But during the actual test, it was 49/120.

It's insane. Considering that I studied a lot.

My dad had an accident, and I couldn't practice for 3 days during the week of the exam.

This is N4. I wanted to get N3, before I died. I figured, after I passed, I'll just sit for N3, and then kms, once I'm at N3 level.

Learning Japanese has been one of those things that I've always wanted to do.

Honestly, fellas, I'm so depressed, that it's almost surreal how depressed I am. Like, I didn't think it was physically possible for someone to be this depressed...

Specially, considering that all the causes for depression happened like 10 years ago...

I feel you. Sorry about the JLPT, I attempted Japanese some years ago and didn't even get as far as taking the first exam. I'm sure if you could practice more it would've been a pass and I hope you get another opportunity. Really well done to you so far, sending hugs.

Yeah, it's nothing a practice can't solve. I just don't know what to do next.

do you self study? if you have some extra money, it might be worth getting an online tutor or something

I started learning japanese a year and a half ago but i've barely immersed since then due to my shitty circumstances
now my japanese is getting rusty and i'm so behind everyone as a mediocre sub n4

it sucks because i see people that started later being at a much higher level than me now
i mean i'm glad for them and i'm happy japanese is motivating other people but why do i have to witness it?

watching that is like a kid in a wheelchair watching other kids run through a field
so demoralizing

I had a Sensei, he taught me for two years. He's family friend. I'm confident enough to do it on my own. I think I just need to memorize more words. I got 70/120 for the grammar vocab section when practicing. But somehow, it was 49/120 during the exam. My dad had an accident the last week of the exam and I could study for the 3 days. That might've had something to do with it.
