Discussion Failed ctb using nitrogen exit

Hi guys hope everyone are doing good, one week before I failed nitrogen exit ctb and I was sad about it, anyone had same failed attempt?

I know I did a lot of mistakes like laying down in bed, for some reason I suddenly increased my nitrogen output to the maximum I don't know why, I waited waited for 22 minutes after that gas ran out, I used a 1500 liters compressed gas cylinder with some stupid regulator with no flow meter, exit bag was so thick, I don't know I just did a lot of mistake

I wake up and my head was hurting until morning, little dizzy, I was scared that I got brain damage but I am okay now and will try again

After my failed attempt I thought of jumping from building but my condo is only 8 floors and I live in 2nd floor so I don't know whether jumping would have worked or not

I literally spend all my money and now I sold my iPhone, iPad and ps5 to try my next attempt, hope I make it, right now I am hiding from my family in Thailand, I just enjoyed 1 year in Thailand and after everything now I am ready to ctb, hope I am successful in my next attempt

What is your preferred method?

I wouldn't try inert gas without a meticulous setup. The brain damage potential is certainly high if it's not done right. An EEBD hood is just so much better than a bag.

Yes it's explicitly designed for breathing a gas from a cylinder while isolating you from the outside gas.

It has a one way exhale valve.
I haven't built a setup yet but I've passed out for almost a minute from breathing a balloon of argon gas and it was completely without warning or discomfort just felt like an alcohol blackout when you don't know it's happened until it's over. Inert gas is seriously powerful stuff.

I will try to assemble it sometime this year unfortunately I have roommates right now and live in a very isolated rural area where I can only get things delivered to my workplace so I haven't figured out how to order things like nitrogen discreetly.

Wait… are you building the eebd yourself or do you mean buying an eebd and connecting the tank and everything?

Do you have a suggestion on where to buy an eebd or how to make one, if that's what you're doing?

I'm still looking for a good eebd hood source. I can buy an entire kit for 1800 USD however just buying the hood would cut prices drastically.

That's too expensive, my setup is the most top-notch high-end CTB setup that you can possibly implement and it's 1155 € in total (for the core components).

As far as I know there is no air-to-nitrogen adapter for NZ/AU (G5/8" to Type 50).
