Posting so maybe others can learn
After losing my child, I used 6 disposable bbqs and a tent in the woods in the UK in February 2019. I covered the outside in those foil like blankets emergency services use and duct tape. I didn't wait long enough before i took them into the tent so it was smokey and boiling hot, first mistake. The heat was so intense that a small hole burned into the tent and I caved in and unzipped the entrance for some fresh air. I guess survival instinct kicked in. Eventually i passed out but woke up later after having a seizure (i know i had one because all my stuff, teddy bear etc was a mess and tne bbqs had spilled all over me) , throwing up in my sleep and causing a severe burn to my leg, a fourth degree burn almost down to the bone which still isn't healed over a year later. I can post pics if anyone is intrigued.
After i woke up, i was FREEZING, like down to my bones cold, even though the tent was surely boiling still. It was like i was on auto pilot, i had almost no control over myself, I crawled out the tent, I called my mum for help but my words came out all jumbled and very slurred. I couldn't think clearly. My muscles were so weak I could barely stand but within 20 mins, that seemed to wear off. I stayed cold though until my mum arrived.
I will be trying again very soon and will learn from my mistakes.
I just wanted to share with people who won't think I'm crazy...
