I've had a seemingly benign existence where I have generally minded my own business and been nice and considerate to everyone, but even this causes lots of suffering. The food I eat comes from factory farms where animals are tortured, the products I use come from factories with piss poor working conditions and low wages, etc. My very existence is immoral because any pleasure will only have been made possible through the suffering of others, like an emotional ponzi scheme (I know this is a gross oversimplification, but I am having trouble conveying this idea in a clear and concise way). I would like to break the cycle by killing myself, but even that would cause a lot of suffering among my family.
The takeaway here is that life sucks and existence is pain.
