What are some facts, fun facts and things to look out for when partial hanging? That is my for sure method of choice so I wanna know as much as possible to avoid any damage or destruction overall.
look through first couple pages of hanging megathread, you wanna use a ligature about 10-16mm thick, use folded socks (folded in â or Âź, vertically obviously) to target carotid artery, make sure you've hit carotid artery in a practice before attempting for real. If during practice you feel like your head may explode then you've just hit your jugular veins, not your carotid

Thanks for the reply! Just one question, is there a way to make sure you have hit the carotid vein? I mean, yeah, by attempting, but you know, how to position it properly and all that?

Finding it is the easy part lol just feel your pulse to both sides of your throat, I've never hit mine but from what I've heard it's peaceful/sometimes pleasureable? and after a couple secs you feel yourself passing out
edit: also just search stuff like "found my carotid" "carotid feels like" etc. to get a better idea from users that have hit it before. put your socks on where you feel pulse for positioning.
