Nobody stays. Everyone leaves. We are a DID system, currently in "treatment" but it's not doing... Much. Our host had a partner, and our system relied on him too heavily, particularly the younger ones. Now we're "on break", a break that at this point clearly isn't going to end in reconciliation as our "partner" just keeps growing more and more distant and less willing to support us. They aren't even trying. They won't even hug us anymore, even when we're not upset. We have no support. We left an abusive partner a while back, someone who forced us to cut ties with "our" friends on only be friends with "their" friends, who all obviously took our ex's side. We weren't successful in reconnecting with any of them.

We can't take this anymore. Being barred from intimacy like this- it's definitely way deeper than that, but this is final straw type stuff. It's pushed us over. We need someone to help us feel secure, especially those of us who are stuck at young ages. They told us when the break started we would "always be welcome in their arms" but that wasnt true, even if they thought it would be. And this isn't the first time this has happened. It's happened with other partners, similar stuff with friends in the past

We just started therapy (again). We were trying to get better. We needed SOMEBODY to fucking... Support us. He promised he'd be it. We told him how difficult it can be to support us. He swore he could handle it. We believed him. He probably believed him too. Fucking stupid. Fucking dumb. We're so fucking dumb. We should have known it'd be the same as it's always been.
