I don't know all your interactions with everyone on this site so far but I feel pretty confident that no one hates you here unless there was a huge chat fight that I missed or something lol. I've never seen you type anything that warranted any judgement or disdain. I'm sorry you're suffering. Those types of thoughts in particular are very rough.

not saying it was right, it 100% wasnt. but i question if maybe that comment came from an emotional place rather then an actual comment towards people. (i hope that makes sense) just speculation, ive read a couple of their posts (obviously nothing in chat) and it seems like this might be a possibility.

I mean we all have the capacity to know what we are doing. It took him the effort to log into the chat, think about the comment he was going to send, type it out, and hit the enter key. It took some thought to doing so, so it cannot be excused with an excuse like that.

I have lashed out at people on this site knowing full well I was in the wrong. I am holding them to the same standard I myself should be held at.

I guess that's fair.

Either way, my original post still applies to why people may not like them, tbh. If the OP doesn't want to be hated, they should really self reflect and realize that they should try to control what they say to avoid the issue.

Putting thoughts in people's head, is toxic and unhealthy. Don't do this to yourself or others.

When someone perceives that other people dislike them, they might lash out and set up a self-fulfilling prophecy. It's not the first time I've seen this happen on this site. One guy even claimed to support FT26 just to push our buttons.

It's ultimately a defense mechanism and the root of the problem will be frustration with one's social experiences.

I like to think that I don't hate anyone or anything, though sometimes I involuntarily make an exception for specific people who tormented me in childhood, covered up the abuse and then went on to live happy lives while I rotted in poverty, isolation and mental illness. Being cool with that level of cruelty is beyond me.

You may be surrounded by people who tell you don't do this, don't do that or "people Wil laugh at you ". "don't make a fool of yourself", "you demonstrate your incompetence". Typical alphamale statements that speak to our deepest fears and insecurity. Sorry I'm ranting now.
