And every day in the UK I can almost guarantee a new news story bar the odd day - almost always the report states 'person dies' - it's a method I've long considered but if I'm to do this it has to be in a tunnel wearing all dark clothing and a black balaclava- this way hopefully the driver won't see me won't stop and won't have it on they're concirnce the next day

I don't know how people do it. Looks very common in India too & Japan (prob as they have those v high speed trns!). I wonder if they could still see due to the train lights? idk, guess it could reduce the chances...dunno though...

Had a story in my country with a woman that drove trains, she had 4 jumpers in her working period and it gave her PTSD, she is now unable to work and permently damaged. So unless the train is driverless, which is rarely a thing, I would consider other methods.

You will be fucking up someone else's life by doing this.

What about the workers who inspect the tunnels - they will have the trauma of finding your mutilated body.

There is also a risk to the train passengers - if the driver brakes hard someone may be injured. Perhaps there is a chance of the train derailing, especially if it is a light train.

Too much risk to others IMO.

A friend of mine was hit and killed by a train 14 years ago. In Chicago. I remember when it happened I felt so jealous. He wasn't trying to ctb. It was just an accident. Yes you will be impacting those who find your body, but the same is true with most other methods.

"It is possible for the body to just bounce off the front of the train."

Yikes.

Years ago I witnesses a horrifying thing. A very large refuse truck (dumper truck) had reversed over a pedestrian who was trapped underneath. I did not see it happen, but I passed the scene after it had been sealed off by police. The fire brigade had to bring in hydraulic jacks to lift the truck up. I could not see the person but there were paramedics lying down on the road trying to reach him. I would imagine the pain (if he was still alive) would be excruciating.

Not a good way to go.
