Things like charcoals, grills, rope, anything else that could be used for "popular" methods.
Do you think the developed world and authorities will eventually 'restrict' sale?

Much like how you can't usually here for example buy knives from a supermarket or store unless you're over 18/have ID too.

Same with alcohol.

Eventually, I just wonder in a paranoid way, when things like charcoal and ropes, will be "restricted".

It's sounds funny now, sure...but how do you/we know they won't someday?

No. They are never going to restrict the sales on those items.

Can you imagine the backlash from people who like to BBQ with their families in the summer if they banned charcoal?

Yes. I can't turn up phone volume without being harassed. . Every.... single.... time. Its one reason UK voted brexit, to avoid STUPID regulations.

It would be absolutely absurd to restrict the sales of those items. It ain't gonna happen. It would be tat amount to restricting sales on dishwashing detergent, bleach, and belts.

Could you imagine a world where the government restricted the sales of everything based on stopping people from CTB? Everything would come to a standstill. You ain't got nothing to worry about buddy.

If they actually do that I would not be surprised if everyone is tied up from birth and force fed by machines for 100 yrs until they die, just so they cant ctb.

Our sick society would probably rather see that horrifying scenario laid out for us as opposed to allowing for the universal right to die.

Although to be honest, you never really know either, right?

Given how absurd the legislation has been regarding suicide, they might one day ban it.

What do you think about the possibility of restricting sales for SN? I been wondering about that. Especially if it starts getting popular.

Sodium Azide will be restricted first. When they requiring some sort of chemical license for Azide, than I would start worrying about SN.

Maybe they'll do it when they start banning eating utensils as those make people fat.

Exactly. There is only so much gov't, law, and policy can push onto the masses (general population) before the masses draw a line and start to push back.

Maybe they'll do it when they start banning eating utensils as those make people fat.

Oh, but then again there are finger foods too, such as friend chicken, burgers, sandwiches, ice cream, chips, snacks, and so forth. On a serious note, I don't think that is likely to happen as people will be in an uproar so fast that riots and civil unrest would happen first before that happened.

It will be very very hillarious. Well they will need to regulate houses not higher than 10 metres then lol. Everyone live in the ground like hobbits and chopping down every tall trees.

I'ma start stockpiling charcoal. Then just hang around and someday there'll be threads on here with desperate people trying to get charcoal. And I'll sell you a bag for $700 USD and we can start a thread called "Getting C from M"!

been wondering about that too ,but yes as Threadsd said it would started with S Azide

- masses seem to be more and more brainwashed and non active pawns, critical thinking is intentinonally not encouraged so as to prevent rebellion

OP here, well you fellas above both seem on the money about those chemicals probably being the first ones to go if they ever decide to start restricting things like sn or sa.

I hope they don't restrict the chemical versions of charcoal method (something about flasks, I'm lazy haven't looked into it, I know ones for chemical fumes the other is charcoal but they both work the same way).

Long story short, I suppose I'd settle on CO if the opportunity ever arises for me. No, I'm not asking for stuff so not breaching the rules, merely explaining in case anyone replies "so you ordered anything" and I'd be like "nope". Lol. With a lol, I'd add. Too poor, never gonna have the money, and I don't even have a car.

My life is a big puzzle like that but that's off topic.

Yeah you're all probably right, charcoal may be the last if they ever did, but Grills of a certain size they may restrict. Who knows!

So many methods, all involving either a level of pain, risk, or time-issue (take a while).

Anyway. This was a fun thread.
