It blows my mind that people enjoy slaving for 8+ hours a day at something they have to convince themselves they enjoy. I would rather kill myself than do that.

People always said to find a job that is fulfilling and doesn't feel like work but I don't think that exists! Does anyone know of any possible job that would not feel like work? Have any of you enjoyed work before?

Work currently is the best thing in my life. My work forces me to get out of my house and see and interact with other people.
Also, while I am working I feel less depressed, I guess because I am too busy to think about it.
And to top it off, I get a sweet check at the end of the month.

So I do not share your view :)

I work at the airport btw.. Its fun :)

I'm sure many people find their work rewarding and enjoyable, I badly wanted the job cooking at the homeless unit. I would have found that rewarding and worthwhile, helping some of the most needy and vulnerable people in society.

Then you have dedicated health professionals who truly desire to ease the suffering of others.

You guys are good people. I guess I've been around the snobbiest most evil people that will look down upon you for working a "lower class" job. It has caused me a lot of anxiety and anger. Ironically I would say a lot of my negative feelings come from the way I've been judged by women. I know they would look down on me if I worked menial jobs. Life is retarded and my life is over

How old are you? Do you have a decent education? What would you like to do?
There are thousands of different jobs, people who judge you because of what you work at are not worth the effort.

Not being funny dude but blaming women for all your problems will just make things worse. There are forums in Manosphere for that kind of ideology.

I don't blame them for my problems. I blame myself for judging myself extremely harshly to the point where everything I do seems not doable, if that makes sense. I have too much self awareness now.

If you think I hate women you're wrong. I just hate myself more than anything that's why I'm here dude.

All the science backs up the criticisms I have of women though so idk what the point of arguing is. You either accept it or not.

I've never seen science "back up" what your saying about women but we can agree to drop it. We'll just end up circle-jerking over the topic.

Literally "all the science". Mate, there are theses written on Holocaust denial. Google "race science", you'll find tons of pages on cod-scientific studies into how black people have smaller brains. You can't just point at shit and call it "science", and then use that word as a catch-all defence for the anguish you feel at not being able to match up to your own ludicrously high and inaccurate standards of overt masculinity.

Most people are just slaves to make a company richer, I don't get how it can be enjoyed unless you forget that part. Atleast if your colleagues are not a-holes you can get some social gratification but not everyone is so lucky. It's worse in China, a complete workhorse slave from about 6 years old.

Chinaski I'm not stupid. There are solid sources pointing to every conclusion I have made. What women actually desire, how they discriminate based on race, etc etc. it's science. Idk what you want me to say. We can accept human nature or delude ourselves.

And I also have numerous anecdotes that match what this science has revealed to me. Which is depressing.

This suggests it's very likely that these things occurred in reverse and that you unearthed the cod-science to match your worldview tbh.

No it didn't. I have been living blissfully unaware for my entire life. When i fell into this massive depressive state is when I started doing more research and reflection. Mostly because of therapy. How ironic that therapy has hurt me more than it helped. The world is bastardized beyond return. Love doesn't exist except for the privileged few. The rest of us are scrounging around for the scraps.

Don't we all discriminate and/or have preferences when we date?

I don't like suit and tie guys because I think they won't get me. I often wonder if I've passed up a decent opportunity because the dude wasn't a construction worker.

In the past, working was very hard for me. For me personally, the work is fulfilling me, because I've a lot of experienced in my job. Safety is the most important thing for me. I work in a large hospital and the doctors do not respect you "for beeing not a doctor too". I do no longer care about that. I work shift in an emergency and I like that I can give some help in bad situations of our patients.

Every Saturday morning I am voluntarily in a nursing home and spend time with lonely bereaved old people. I feel useful I guess...

There are many women who will definitely like you. Don't be biased when you meet someone new

One of the reasons, I'm going to CTB soon. I can't see myself slaving away at a shitty job until I'm an old man. And most jobs are shitty... Nah, I can't just go out and find a GOOD job. You need connections for the good jobs... Perhaps I could kiss someone's ass enough to get a good job one day but by the time, I will reap the reward, I will be old and I hate kissing ass.

You can write your own references. And, your friends can pose as your supervisors. Don't let references get in the way. If you want the experience of a different type of work, you could get a weekend job, maybe.

When I was in my late 20s, I quit my hospital--research job to waitress. Waitressing was a great experience: I met so many people and built up some of my eroded confidence. The thing I regret, though, was quitting that hospital job. I could've done both the waitressing AND the hospital job -- not easily, but it would've been possible. That's what I would recommend to you: get a weekend job in addition to your corporate job. It'll be a nice change of pace without throwing away your future.

And, anyone on this site, I'm sure, would agree to be your reference.

thanks but ive already ordered the nembutal. its almost been 3 weeks and its not here yet though. Honestly I don't enjoy life in general anymore. I pretty much died in my head 3 months into a temp job i was working. The future for me is very grim so id rather just live out the rest of my life ata my parents tbh.

And, ok yeah, I think that many people love money more than the misery of work. And, some people find some things more miserable than others. You could think of the kind of environment in which you'd like to work...I don't think there are a lot of people who go singing to work, though.

That's such a shame, tbh. You're young and bright and full of promise! I think Sinbad is right: ANY job might be better than no job. (this coming from someone who's unemployed). Temp jobs suck, that's a fact. Don't let a temp job get you down. I think you're really smart to go that route; easiest way to get your foot in the door, I think. You have so much to live for!
