Hii y'all, I think it would help my journey (be it life or death) to have support in being actively suicidal. To have support while im planning.

Counsellor? End of life planning counsellor? (these only exist for the old and terminally ill rn where I'm at.)

Like I have spent soo much time on planning life and the things I need to live. I need balance.

Do these exist? Like I think it would be helpful to have someone to not even plan with per say but, be able to discuss aspects of death and suicide more. Openly and with more understanding...

or is it more of just finding a therapist that deals with that more? (I have searched a bit and not much came up.)

They don't exist in my country (UK). Where I live people don't openly talk about suicide as there is too much stigma surrounding it. Therapists have been known to drop suicidal patients as they do not want the association. I wish there was more support for this as I see a right to die as important. I wish you the best.

I have taken the issue towards my supports and they will start looking..... It's very difficult to express what I need when it feels impossible...

@FuneralCry
Yeah, thats kinda my predicament... I feel like personally it's only been a few years in my country since they've even moved past dropping suicidal patients. I think that only applies to actual trauma informed therapists and it's still like... a choice? It isn't a standard per say within the system...

Like I have been very nervous accessing services and trying to keep that at bay...

At least here in Argentina, I think they don't exist.
You can only go to a normal therapist or psychiatrist and most of them will try to gave you lots of meds until you're a zombie so that you stop thinking about ctb or send you to a psych ward.
I repeat, not all of them do this.
I guess it's just a matter of luck!

Look up Death Doulas.
Are there ways to talk about what you want to prepare for end-of-life without specifically saying you plan to CTB? That might help with plausible deniability.

If you're not wealthy or if you don't have dependents, seeing anyone about this sort of thing would be a huge red flag, especially if you've attempted before.

If you have dependents though, most people would understand I think. You can pass it off as being an extra prepared and careful person. Maybe your parents depend on your income or something, that would also be good cause to see an estate planner or have your affairs in order just in case.

The Five Last Acts book and whatever's left of the asher webpages have great advice too. If you're on your own, or if you've attempted before, you could look there.

I called a funeral parlour to discuss my funeral and they called the police! So careful.
In the UK, you could call the Samaritans. They would listen and discuss this with you. Other than that, no therapist is allowed to....Death Doulas is a good idea.
