• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Does anyone else here find it comforting having another ctb setup close to you that you can access if you need to no matter the circumstances?

Not a plan to execute per se, but a contingency plan that you could execute in cases something terrible happens and you need to leave immediately.
I have kept the required materials and tools in the back of my car for a non-ideal, but still reliable backup method since 2019, it's not my first choice, but it'd still work if I really needed to go and I didn't have time to endure any longer.

When traumatic events have destroyed your sense of future multiple times, I personally think it's comforting to know that even if tomorrow is unbearable because another unexpected and traumatic event comes out of the blue again; I will still have an out, I wouldn't have to suffer waiting to acquire everything i need for my preferred method in a better put together plan.

Do any of you guys have something like this too, or feel that it's comforting to you as well?
I don't believe I'll ever need it, I think when I do ctb I will plan it another, better way; but it calms me down sometimes to know I'm never fully backed into a corner, sorta like a CTB placebo i think.

Yeah. I've had mine for a few years as well. It's oddly soothing in a way

I had mine in 2019 and it made me feel less anxious, and ironically, even more determined, confident that if everything goes to shit, I have a way out, and even if I don't use it. That has brought me true peace through the notion of having a (real, reliable) way out of this hellish existence. As of now, I don't currently have one due to life circumstances that changed since 2020, which sucks. I do (in the long term) aim to secure some way of my exit in the future so I can be at peace again. I'd say the last two years has just been anxious and the worst times was during my hiatus from SaSu (January 2021-June 2022).
