Efficiency of Suicide Method

So, I've read a little bit about botched suicides by gun, and I'm terrified of the possibility of becoming a vegetable instead of a corpse. What I want to know is this: If I take a rifle, chambered in 7.62x39, place the barrel in my mouth, and fire a round out the back of my skull, will I die? If not immediately, then would I at least bleed to death eventually, provided no one found me in time to get medical aid on the scene? I really need to know if this will work or not, because if it won't, then I'm going to need to find a more leathal method to use to take my life.

I considered a firearm method before I found this place. But there are far more peaceful and sure methods than firearms. But regardless of what method, many of the people who failed and came back here to talk about it have one thing in common: they were found too early. If you are found too early using the firearm method, and are god forbid brought back to life, your life is going to be a nightmare. If you are found too early after ODing on something, you can walk away without permanent damage. You only get one shot at this, and making sure you aren't found too early is something that is easily preventable.

I'm planning on combining methods (firearm + noose + medication) and doing it in a place where I'll never be found, like in a forest or something. I don't think it's physically possible to survive.

Not trying to hate, but putting a test to your method. This means you would have to take just enough medication to where you are able to hold and point a gun to the correct place on your head, while making sure you are in the correct position with your noose (full suspension? partial?). Many people only pick one method, and put all their concentration in it and still mess it up. But if you pick just one method and do your research and do it right, you will very likely succeed.

Thank you for your advice. I'm definitely taking this into consideration. I know that drugs are said to be the easiest way to go, but I'm not sure which ones to take or how I can get a hold of them. Rest assured, if it does come down to using a firearm, I've already made sure to secure a location far enough away from any civilization (I live in a rural area that's dotted far and near with patches of secluded forest) that by the time anyone realizes I'm missing, it will be too late. Just wanted to be sure that a shot to the head would do the trick, be it instant death or death by eventual loss of blood. In any case, thank you for your input.
