What would be the easiest or most readily available option to ctb for someone living in Canada? I have also heard our mail and borders have become pretty strict if I ordered anything..

It's just not that easy to do so painlessly and easily.

If it was I'd be gone now.

It's either a complicated process like the whole regime with SN or charcoal burning or exit bags or how difficult it is to order N and the challenges and lack of certainty that comes with them.

OR

It's a more accessible yet violent, dramatic and potentially painful method like jumping or hanging.

There is no easy way.

Not sure about the laws in Canada but SN is widely available in the US and is a painless method if done right.

N is guaranteed success if you can get ahold of it. It is also a very peaceful and painless way out if done right. Protocol for it is very similar to SN.

That is why they should have a dying with dignity program for us. They only have it for cancer patients in a few states who have 6 months or less to live. I have a great deal if sympathy for cancer patients. My dad died of it. But I'm going through more suffering than he ever went through. My suffering has lasted 14 years. Physically and mentally. His lasted a few months and then the toxins went to his brain so he didn't know what was going on. I think it's completely unfair for cancer patients to be the only ones given this. How can anyone else know the pain we feel? That is why I admired Dr. Kevorkian. You didn't have to worry about w botched attempt or any pain. He put a needle in your arm and hooked you up to a bunch of drugs and when you were ready you pulled the string. It wasn't a long drawn out process. I wish there was someone that could do that for me. We wouldn't have to be so scared.

Yes... I am having a terrible flare tonight. I want to cry and bash my head off of the wall. Why am I not allowed to die with dignity? Why do I have to suffer so others can continue to "enjoy" my company... Though by not much do they enjoy, I assume. I am suffering and you are suffering and we deserve to make that decision for ourselves. It is not up to the government or doctors to decide who lives and doesn't. It's up to us. Where are all of the pro choice people when WE need them? I am so tired of being judged and scrutinized for choosing to ctb rather than sit here for another year and continue to die inside. I want to die while I am still... Kind of me. I am in Canada and we have AS but like you said, only for cancer patients.... Wish I was in Belgium.

I agree 100 percent with you Sweet Emotion, I have some physical problems, but it's not too bad, but I do suffer immensely mentally, and I live in a state where Assisted Suicide is legal, but, like you said it's for those that only have a terminal illness. I hate that the government thinks they can do whatever the hell they want with my body, but, if I were to end up homeless on the street or something worse, are they going to let me stay in their fancy houses and share their money with me, hell no! I say that if we have the money to buy their euthanasia meds, they should just sell it to us, but no, we have to deal with their bullshit. And for US citizens, we live with a piece of shit who calls himself president, and he hates most of the people in the US, you'd think he would legalize it so people can kill themselves and there would be less people for him to have to deal with, or in my case, the guy is a racist, he tries to hide it, but it's so obvious, you think he would legalize so if a Mexican like myself wanted to die, he would say OK, and then say, well, 1 less Mexican in the US. But no, the guy doesnt want to do shit, it posses me off

You are awesome, I actually have a nickname for him, I got the idea for it from American Horror Story Cult, I call him, Donald Cheeto Faced Trump, because the guy in the show is supposed to be a Trump supporter, so he blends Cheetos and runs the dust in his face, so that stuck with me.
