I don't think it'd be peaceful.Would starving yourself and only drinking fluids lead to a peaceful death

You would be rescued before dying. It is possible to have a relatively peaceful death with this method as long as you have palliative care and your not already dying of cancer let's say. It takes 3-4 weeks to die with this method. But don't do it unless you can have support and palliative care. Also you shouldn't drink or eat anything doing this method. Because it would just cramp your stomach.Would starving yourself and only drinking fluids lead to a peaceful death
I had refeeding syndrome and can't remember any events or pain, anything before it. Was in a coma for 5 days. What was it like for you? Agree what you write, it's a devasting disorderYou will be too weak to have full cognitive responsibility after a while, even if you manage to change your mind by the time you're skin and bone it will be near impossible to re gain the weight without re-feeding syndrome. Trust me re-feeding syndrome is NOT worth whatever you may be feeling, even mild re-feeding is excruciating it feels like your stomach is ripping itself apart. Anorexia is a very consuming and malicious illness, I heavily advise against pursuing it even through means of cbt, definitely not a fast solution.

I can't remember now but is it 3 days without water you can survive? I'm not sure how long without food.
Not true. I didn't eat or drink for 4 months and didn't die.
My apologies, Blackjack. I am extremely empathetic to your challenges but I find this quite hard to believe.
I'm led to believe from various sources that without incoming fluids of some sort, the average human would have trouble living beyond a week,...ten days at the most.
Here's just one perspective:

This is my story/truth and it is not debatable.
Earlier this year, after being diagnosed w/ALS, I was hospitalized for 6+ weeks as a result of not eating for 4 months prior due to anxiety/stress.
