Does anyone else's hand (the one holding the knife or razor) get very shaky after cutting? Im assuming its normal to happen after intense pain, but im curious.
Sounds like a normal response to being flooded with adrenaline. My guess is that you have fear or stress associated with cutting yourself.
It's not something I've experienced as a result of self harm, but in other situations.

If there's a bigger mess then expected, yes, but that shake, it's familiar so I don't fear the blood or the mess, but my body reacts in a way as if it's in distress plus like everyone said, adrenaline, but mentally in my head in the moment I don't feel distressed by it.

Yes then you get that adrenaline since it's just how your body would normally tend to react from having deep cuts or just allot, like somyimes I just go wild lifting my hand and dragging the razor along my thigh fast and repeatedly, I'll get deep ones with those if I loose sense of the amount of pressure I'm putting but generally when I do, do that I still get the shakes even if the cuts aren't all that deep but there's still lots of blood from 100 to 200 smaller cuts, it just goes down my thigh and along my leg.

I would but people around me tend to get more suspicious when they can't see my arms or shoulders for long periods of time for some reason, right now I've been having to restrain myself or else I might be forced into a hospital because ya know when people see that, stable an sain people see somthing like that it's reasonably concerning...
I just cant "quite" it's like a vice.
