I was considering the drug cocktail method but I have some questions. Why the drugs protocols is so researched and improved in the MAID setting when exist Nembutal "the holy grail" of ctb? Why dont they use it instead?

I was very excited about this method because it uses legal drugs but its seems impossible to ingest hundreds of pills. Even if I take it all probably i would ingest more excipient than than the active principle and who knows if that does have some interaction. Also I would have to stock digoxine for months, because no pharmacy would sell me 10+ boxes. PPH doesnt mention anything of this practical difficulties.

I guess they are investigating these protocols and not Nembutal just because they are impossible to follow for the public. If that is the case, I would just to pray the phenobarbital works by itself (which is in the last protocol in lethal doses, but for other reason).

They are researching alternatives because the pentobarbital products manufactured for humans have become prohibitively expensive. They still recommend pentobarbital for those who are able to afford it.

Or I should say barbiturates. They also use secobarbital, right?
