Is it possible to drown if i know how to swim?
If I OD on a drug like fentanyl until I node out, will it be possible? What's a good substance that could make me able to drown?

I don't know if this is just a cliche thing or practicalities around it, but something like tying something heavy to your ankle?

Just for context it's in this at about 1:10. Surely if you used a chain/lock nothing could stop you

People who can swim drown all the time.
If you are intoxicated and weighed down by something it's only going to increase the chances.

Yes, you can drown while knowing how to swim, you just need to have a few things to weigh you down and prevent you from coming back up. Weights, 3 pairs of handcuffs, cuff your hands, your hands to your legs and your legs. (Quite complicated, i know, but i managed to do it before so i'm pretty sure you're gonna be capable of doing it as well.)

the only thing worse than this is setting yourself on fire.
please dont do this.... there are less cruel methods...
atleast try reading into shallow water blackout, because you do not want to be conscious while drowning, trust me.

I'm sorry but (in the last line) what does "reading into shallow water blackout" mean? And how can it make you drown while unconscious. I'm not being sarcastic by asking this; I would really like to know. Thank you.
